ロータリークラブ例会

越谷東ロータリークラブの新年初めての例会に、社員４人と共に出席してきた。
ロータリーは１９０５年、シカゴで初めて出来たクラブで、その核にある大きな
原則は「親睦と奉仕」です。
人間は,等しく「自分のため、そして人のために生きる」ものであり、そのバランス
を考えながら行動することを大切にするという基本的な理念がある。
そして、ロータリーは次の二つの「モットー」を持っている。
　　　　
　　　　　「　最も良く奉仕する者、最も多く報いられる　」
英語で　「　He Profits Most Who Serves Best　」

　　　　　「　超我の奉仕　」
英語で　「　Service above Self　」

世界中に約３万クラブ、１２０万人の会員がいて、様々な奉仕活動をしている。
今回、初めて社員に例会を見てもらったが、これからも機会を見つけて例会に
出席してもらいたいと思っています。
